5 Lever
A 5 lever mortice sashlock is not as secure as a British Standard sashlock, but does offer a higher level of protection than a 2 or 3 lever sashlock. It is worth noting that most insurance companies require external or "final exit" doors be fitted with a British Standard lock.
For final exit doors we recommend you refer to your home and contents insurance policy before updating any final exit door locks as installing the wrong lock type could invalidate your policy.
