Sashlocks
Similar to a mortice sashlock, a surface or rim mounted sashlock features a bolt and a latch. The rim sashlock differs from its morticed counterpart in that both the latch and bolt are operated by a key externally. This means that unlike a mortice sashlock, a surface mounted rim sashlock does not require door furniture to be fitted to operate.
